Campaign Overview

With over 125 years of experience providing social service programs, Neighborhood House understands that progress is a process. It is in that spirit that the Hope in Action campaign originated – utilizing a strategic and targeted plan within a Board approved framework, focusing on elevating Neighborhood House at all service locations and at all levels of the organization.

Goal and Progress

With the support of our incredible community, we have raised $23.7M of our $25M goal.
Will you help us close the gap?

A few years from now, a resilient and courageous family of six will move to St. Paul. The barriers they face as they navigate a new city will be significant: systemic inequities, food insecurity, unemployment, housing challenges, and language barriers, to name a few. This family could look like the millions of American families who live their entire lives with similar struggles in spite of their tenacity and desire to move forward.

But this family finds Neighborhood House. And their lives are transformed.

The Hope in Action Comprehensive Campaign will ensure Neighborhood House is ready for this family. With your support, we will secure our future by making critical updates to the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center, enhancing existing programs and creating opportunities to better serve our families. We will also sustain an over 125-year legacy of impact so future families in our neighborhoods will always have Neighborhood House for support. We will evaluate our successes and challenges, enabling us to launch future programs more effectively. And we will expand, by opening an Integrated Programming Center in the West 7th Street corridor in St. Paul, bringing the Neighborhood House approach to new families in need.
